Summer time: GMT+3
Winter time: GMT+2
You can check the trading hours for each instrument on the TMGM website, in MT4/MT5, or in the TMGM App. In MT4/MT5 you can view them under [Specification] for the instrument; in the TMGM App you can view them under [View all attributes] on the product page. All trading hours are shown in server time.
Margin is the amount of funds you must commit up front when opening a position. It is not a trading fee. The margin required varies according to the instrument, the contract value and the account leverage ratio.
To check the margin requirement for each instrument, go to the TMGM website > Trading Tools > Trading Calculator > Margin Calculator.
When your margin level falls below the stop out level, the system will automatically close positions starting with the largest loss, until the margin level is restored above the stop out level.
VFSC accounts: 20%
ASIC accounts: 50%
The swap, also known as overnight interest, is the cost or income generated by holding a position overnight. When your position is held across 00:00 MT4/MT5 server time, the system calculates the swap once.
If the swap is positive, the amount is credited to your trading account; if it is negative, it is deducted from your trading account.
The swap calculation method may differ by product type.
For gold and currency pairs, for example, the quoted swap (overnight fee) is the swap calculated for holding one lot of that product.
For digital currencies (cryptocurrencies) the swap is calculated as a percentage. Crypto swap formula = swap rate (%) x closing price x lots x contract size / 360.
On triple swap days, three times the swap is calculated. No swap is calculated over the weekend.
The triple swap day for gold and forex products is Wednesday; for oil, indices and cryptocurrency products it is Friday.
Swap rates differ for each instrument and fluctuate with market conditions. You can view the current day's swap rates on the product attributes page in MT4/MT5 or the TMGM App.
When you hold a share CFD or index CFD position across 00:00 MT4/MT5 server time, the system may credit or debit a dividend to your trading account based on the product's dividend adjustment. The actual dividend amount is as per the official announcement.
The daily dividend rates are published before market close. You can view the day's CFD index and CFD share dividend rates on the TMGM website > CFD Products > Dividends.
