Below $1.30, Ripple’s (XRP) correction is gathering pace on Monday as pressures across the cryptocurrency market intensify. The technical outlook suggests that further declines could remain the path of least resistance unless the $1.30 supply zone becomes support.

An equity facility covering up to 5,218,935 Shares of Class A Common Stock could raise approximately $81 million at XRPN’s prevailing market price if fully executed. Evernorth Holdings (XRPN), a leading digital asset treasury company offering institutional access to XRP, said on Monday that it had signed a common stock agreement with CF Principal Investments to establish the facility.
General corporate purposes, development of the XRP ecosystem and additions to XRP treasury holdings are the intended uses of the proceeds. Evernorth also said it would pursue its treasury strategy through other committed equity offerings and equity-linked facilities.
Matt Frymier, Chief Financial Officer of Evernorth, said: “This represents our first step in putting facilities in place to help grow and manage our treasury in an accretive manner for shareholders,”
Through a regulated, liquid and transparent structure, publicly traded Evernorth offers investors exposure to XRP. The company ranks among the world’s largest XRP treasuries and follows strategies intended to grow XRP value per share over time, with support from the institutional and decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
A bearish near-term bias remains in place for XRP, which trades above but stays below the 50-day, 100-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), grouped at roughly $1.33 to $1.37. Resistance remains layered above the market, with the SuperTrend some distance overhead at $1.45. Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator is still marginally negative, and a Relative Strength Index (RSI) reading of 38 points to weak downside momentum that is not yet extreme.

To relieve the prevailing pressure, buyers would need to regain a tightly packed supply zone comprising the 100-day EMA near $1.33, the 50-day EMA at $1.36 and the 200-day EMA at $1.37. The 100-day EMA marks the first resistance level. Further up, the SuperTrend at $1.45 and the descending resistance trend line from $1.72 present additional obstacles. With the pair below every major dynamic resistance level and no clearly established support immediately beneath the market, the risk of further losses remains.

Using blockchain technology, payments company Ripple specialises in cross-border remittances. Ripple Labs Inc. created RippleNet, a payment transfer network available to financial institutions around the world. XRP is also used by the company.
The decentralised XRPLedger blockchain has XRP as its native token. Ripple Labs uses it to enable transactions on XRPLedger, allowing financial institutions to transfer value across borders. By supporting instant, trustless payments on the XRPLedger chain, XRP helps financial firms reduce the cost of transactions worldwide.
Distributed ledger technology underpins XRPLedger, a blockchain that uses XRP to power transactions. Unlike other blockchains, the ledger incorporates an inflammatory protocol to help counter spam and distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks. Responsibility for maintaining XRPL lies with a peer-to-peer network called the global XRP Ledger community.
Payments between different networks are supported by the interledger standard, the blockchain protocol used by XRP. XRP’s blockchain can, for example, link the ledgers of two or more banks, effectively doing away with intermediaries and the need for centralisation within the system. Engineered by Jed McCaleb, Arthur Britto and David Schwartz, the XRPLedger blockchain uses XRP as its native token.
