$1.25 is Ripple (XRP)’s trading level on Monday. Bulls and bears are contesting the direction of the next trend once consolidation ends. Following the $6.3 billion Binance security breach, the remittance token fell sharply with other cryptocurrencies last week. The $1.20 region broadly offers psychological support, where buyers are likely to return. Expectations should nevertheless remain measured, given the structural obstacles visible across short- and medium-term timeframes.

CryptoQuant’s on-chain data puts the XRP Coinbase Premium Index in negative territory, roughly 0.16% below zero. The reading means XRP’s average price on Coinbase is now lower than the equivalent price on Binance, pointing to softer demand for the token.
Sustained readings below zero have sometimes coincided with weaker Coinbase buying demand in the past. A move back above zero, by contrast, may indicate a relative recovery in demand.

The decline alone, however, does not provide conclusive evidence of continued downward pressure. Assessing the index requires monitoring XRP’s price action, trading volumes and exchange flows alongside it.
A marked deterioration in market sentiment accompanies the weakening XRP demand. On Monday, the Fear & Greed Index stands at 37, within Fear territory and only marginally above the previous day’s 34. That compares unfavourably with a neutral reading of 50 last week and the previous month’s Greed reading of 67.

Near $1.25 on the daily chart, XRP/USDT continues to decline below all major Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), maintaining a bearish near-term bias. Overhead supply is concentrated across the 100-day EMA at $1.33, the 50-day EMA at $1.34 and the 200-day EMA at $1.37. The SuperTrend line near $1.40 adds to that substantial resistance zone.
With the Relative Strength Index (RSI) near 36 and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator in negative territory below zero, momentum remains weak. These readings suggest sellers retain control, even though conditions are not outright oversold.

Around $1.30, the broken descending trendline presents the first resistance hurdle. A meaningful rebound would require the pair to regain that level. Next comes the 100-day EMA at $1.33, then the 50-day EMA at $1.34. Further up, the 200-day EMA at $1.37 and SuperTrend resistance at $1.40 together impose a broader ceiling on gains.
The current daily-chart dataset identifies no clear support close to the price. A sustained move back above trendline resistance at $1.30 would therefore offer the first indication of easing selling pressure. Until that happens, the cluster of moving averages and SuperTrend resistance overhead is likely to limit rebounds.

Specialising in cross-border remittances, Ripple is a payments company that uses blockchain technology to deliver its services. Ripple Labs Inc. created RippleNet, a payment transfer network available to financial institutions around the world. The company also uses the XRP token.
The decentralised XRPLedger blockchain has XRP as its native token. Ripple Labs uses it to enable transactions on XRPLedger, allowing financial institutions to transfer value across borders. By supporting instant, trustless payments on the XRPLedger chain, XRP helps financial firms reduce the cost of global transactions.
Built on distributed ledger technology and blockchain, XRPLedger uses XRP to power transactions. Unlike other blockchains, it incorporates an inflammatory protocol designed to combat spam and distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attacks. A peer-to-peer network called the global XRP Ledger community maintains the XRPL.
The interledger standard used by XRP is a blockchain protocol that enables payments between different networks. XRP’s blockchain can, for example, link the ledgers of two or more banks, effectively eliminating intermediaries and the need for centralisation within the system. Developed by Jed McCaleb, Arthur Britto and David Schwartz, the XRPLedger blockchain uses XRP as its native token.
