Long-term trendline resistance near $0.0794 is being tested by Pi Network (PI) on Friday, with early signs of a recovery emerging after new updates were announced. A series of technical enhancements aims to broaden the utility of Pi Network’s ecosystem. With selling pressure easing, the PI token’s technical outlook suggests a bullish reversal may be taking shape.

In a blog post on Thursday, Pi Network outlined technical enhancements to its developer tools and products. The changes cover a redesigned developer Portal flow interface, historical price tracking for launchpad tokens in Pi BlockExplorer and AI-assisted app packaging through SoloHost. PiVerify is also extending its identity verification services to third-party businesses.
At $0.0783 at the time of writing on Friday, Pi Network remains constrained in the near term by a resistance trendline around $0.0794 linking the highs of 20 June and 22 August. Further overhead resistance comes from the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $0.0833, reinforcing the barrier near the descending trendline.
With the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) around 43, selling pressure appears mild rather than extreme. Meanwhile, the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) line sits just above its signal line while remaining in negative territory, indicating tentative efforts to stabilise.
An upside move would first face the trendline breakout level around $0.0794 and then the 50-day EMA at $0.0833. Together, these levels constitute a nearby supply zone. Further resistance lies at 0.1049, the 50% retracement of the decline from $0.1392 to $0.0704, followed by the 200-day EMA at $0.1124 and, ultimately, the cycle high near $0.1394.
Should the prevailing bearish pressure continue, buyers could seek to limit further declines at the Fibonacci anchor near $0.0704, the only significant structural support on the downside.
