Dogecoin Labs to unite DOGE ecosystem products

Through the launch, MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App will become a single business under Jordan Jefferson, founder of MyDoge and DogeOS. Connecting Dogecoin’s community to additional applications, services and commercial opportunities is the initiative’s objective.

To build an economy around DOGE, Dogecoin Labs said it would bring together consumer distribution, application infrastructure and development expertise. Intellectual property and development teams will be transferred to the organisation from the Dogecoin Foundation and House of Doge.

Jefferson said: “No other digital asset has Dogecoin's combination of liquidity, community and cultural reach, and its potential has barely been tapped,”

Bringing Dogecoin’s developers together is another aim of the organisation, he added. Applications built with DogeOS and distributed through MyDoge would help those developers reach users.

Product development at Dogecoin Labs is also intended to span wallets, payments, commerce, trading, DeFi, gaming, artificial intelligence, social applications and developer infrastructure. Bringing these products to market will be the company’s focus. The Dogecoin Foundation, meanwhile, will maintain its support for open-source development, advocacy and community stewardship.

500,000 users have been surpassed by MyDoge without paid acquisition, according to the announcement. The self-custodial Dogecoin wallet’s recently released V3 version links its consumer platform to applications under development on DogeOS.

On 30 September, DogeOS opened its public testnet, giving developers an EVM-compatible environment in which to build and test applications for Dogecoin users. Payments, trading, DeFi, gaming and digital assets are among the development areas supported by the testnet.

Commercial payments enter the new organisation through Such App. In its beta version, businesses can accept DOGE for goods and services using invoices and in-person QR-code payments.

Dogecoin technical outlook: EMA cluster and descending trendline cap DOGE

A fourth consecutive green candle on the daily chart extended DOGE’s positive run. However, the 20-day, 50-day and 100-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) form a cluster of resistance just above the price.

A descending trendline running from 22 September and resistance at $0.088 also constrain the dog-themed memecoin. A break above that resistance would put the $0.091 hurdle to the test.

Should DOGE decline, the horizontal levels at $0.080 and $0.077 could provide support.
