Heavy selling continues to weigh on leading altcoins, including Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), and Solana (SOL), deepening the previous week's losses. With XRP testing support at $1.2941, ADA remains vulnerable to further declines, while SOL struggles around $100.

The near-term outlook for Ripple remains bearish, with the token trading at $1.2965 at the time of writing on Tuesday. XRP remains substantially below both the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) of $1.3600 and the 200-day EMA of $1.3742.
Having failed to hold above its recent trading-range highs, the price continues to fall and is testing support at $1.2941, corresponding to the 15 June high. A confirmed break beneath this technical level could deepen the fall towards $1.1866, the high recorded on 8 June.
With the Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 40, downward pressure appears modest rather than indicative of outright oversold conditions. Meanwhile, the slightly negative Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) points to limited bearish momentum.
To reduce the prevailing bearish bias and pave the way for a more constructive recovery, XRP needs to regain the 50-day EMA at $1.3600. Beyond that, the 200-day EMA at $1.3742 presents a stronger hurdle.
Following three successive bearish closes, Cardano remains under near-term downward pressure as it trades just above $0.2000. Having broken below the former rising support trendline around $0.2398, ADA remains beneath its 50- and 200-day EMAs, at $0.2240 and $0.2434, respectively.
Persistent downward pressure is suggested by the MACD and its signal line remaining below zero. On the daily chart, the RSI stands at 35, only just above oversold territory.
If a break below $0.2000 is sustained, the decline could reach $0.1894, the low recorded on 30 August. A more pronounced retreat could take the price further down to the 28 July low of $0.1533.
Any recovery would first encounter resistance at the 50-day EMA near $0.2240, then at the reclaimed trendline around $0.2398 and finally at the 200-day EMA of $0.2434. These levels form a crowded supply zone that buyers would have to clear to change the market tone.
Selling continues to weigh on Solana for a sixth consecutive day, with the token trading below $100 at the time of writing on Tuesday. While testing support at the 200-day EMA of $99.15, SOL remains beneath the 50-day EMA at $105.72. A sustained daily close below the long-term moving average could bring the rising support trendline at $86.87 into play.
The indicators continue to favour the downside: the MACD sits below its signal line in negative territory, while the RSI, near 33, is moving closer to oversold levels.
On a recovery, the first hurdle is the 50-day EMA at $105.72. Considerably higher, horizontal resistance lies near $122.94, around the high recorded on 25 September.
